Young Adult and Adolescent Research Participants

BCTR has a long history of collaborating with a wide range of partners. From these collaborations, we have gained unparalleled access to young adult and adolescent research participants, including the following:

  • New York State 4-H youth (160,000 total children and adolescents in rural and urban areas)
  • Youth ages 13-24 from across New York State. Diversity in location, race/ethnicity, new immigrant status, LGBTQ, foster care, homelessness, and juvenile justice
  • Youth who self-injure
  • NYC adolescents from low-income families who have participated in a nutrition program (5,000 total children and adolescents)
  • Expecting and parenting adolescents and young adults
