Larry Steinberg (Cornell Ph.D., ‘77) is Distinguished University Professor and Laura H. Carnell Professor of Psychology at Temple University and an internationally recognized expert on adolescent development. Throughout his career he has addressed issues of great interest and import beyond the academy, including juvenile justice, youth employment, and brain development, and he has sought to communicate with policy makers, teachers, parents, and others. He will discuss some of his experiences and their implications for the BCTR.
